Job Summary
We are looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant - Engineering to support the implementation, maintenance, and governance of engineering master data across enterprise systems. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality while supporting business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management
- Create, update, and maintain engineering master data records.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of product, material, equipment, BOM (Bill of Materials), and technical data.
- Validate and cleanse data to eliminate duplicates and inconsistencies.
- Follow established data governance policies and standards.
Data Analysis & Quality
- Monitor data quality metrics and perform regular audits.
- Identify data issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support data migration and mass data upload activities.
- Prepare reports on data accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and IT teams.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Follow security and confidentiality guidelines for enterprise data.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Relevant experience in master data management, ERP systems, or data governance. Fresh graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query is a plus).
- Knowledge of data validation and cleansing techniques.
- Familiarity with engineering documents such as BOMs and material specifications.
